A series using contraptions of broken and old record players to compose experiences with primitive loop technology - (string and tone arms) related to abstract confessional experiences. I played my machines by moving around and rearranging the elements changing records decorated to indicate the loop grooves. I experimented with total blackness - no light! As well as, white silhouettes suspended and floating above. These were iconic shadow drawings - (hand palm shapes, birds, airplanes...) My contraptions could produce swells of personal and complex montages and near silence. The audience would join in the work within involvement andatmosphere in light and objects.
