Two TreesTwo Trees, 40" x 40", Oil on canvas, 2015In this work, the skies and clouds are an imaginary space, The two trees are allegorical for a couple in a active relationship. They are cohabiting, intertwined, they reach to each other, yet they are independent and unique.- Artist Framed, white shadow box

Three TreesThree Trees, 50" x 30", Oil on canvas, 2016For me, this was the most successful of this tree series. Three Trees' branches and leaf patterns create latticed pattern fields, much like a Jackson Pollack, that wonderful feeling of looking up into the tree and day dreaming. This painting offers a opportunity for wonderful experiences. It's realistic referents are nice footholds, while the abstractions of color and pattern open it up for much discovery.
