Inner Space - Paintings exploring contemplative, complicated, conundrums. Each is a work of unique circumstance, concerns, experiments with some humanity exposed. For example, Wake was the first painting after the Palisades fire which came within 100 yards of our home. The devastation is reflected upon from within, pho-check fire retardant colors washing garden green before scorched mountains floating above. She Had was witnessed as a tree caught and supported a fallen tree, like a Pietà motif amid fire, water and paint turbulence.
